Our Team

At the Gate of Hope, our mission is to create a better future for the people of Afghanistan by addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. We aim to empower women by providing them with training and skills that enable them to become independent and self-sufficient. Our focus on helping children ensures that their basic needs are met and that their rights to a bright future are protected. We also provide support to displaced individuals and families who have been affected by war and other hardships. Our efforts to provide them with food, clothing, and water not only meet their immediate needs but also help restore their hope and dignity.

It is with immense pleasure that we announce the expansion of our volunteer network across Afghanistan. Through our collective efforts, we’ve successfully facilitated various humanitarian initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those in need. These initiatives include conducting a training seminar for over 500 women that culminated in the award of nursing certificates, and offering a six-month sewing training program for 200 women, after which we provided 50 of them with sewing equipment to aid in their employment endeavors.

In partnership with the Forough Aria private school, we have provided free education for over 650 underprivileged children. We also conducted a mental health seminar for young adults and teenagers, aimed at addressing the impact of war-related trauma.

Furthermore, we have struck agreements with two hospitals to offer discounted healthcare services to low-income individuals, and collaborated with two universities to provide more affordable education options for families with limited financial resources. To assist families in need during the harsh winter season, we’ve distributed thousands of clothing items.
